Moraine Lake, Canada

...probably one of the most beautiful places I've been in North America is the celebrated Maligne Lake in Alberta, Canada.  I visited the area in 2023, and this pen and ink sketch was the preparatory drawing for a larger painting that was sold out of Marshall Gallery.  To say that Alberta was breathtaking is an understatement - it was outer worldly.  And an artist could spend a happy lifetime sketching and painting there.  I was so happy to be there with my sketchbook, even for a brief time!
