Caldera on Gold

This painting depicts a head study of the racehorse named Caldera, campaigned by MyRacehorse, painted in oil with a background of real 24k gold.

Caldera is a beautiful son of Breeder's Cup Dirt Mile winner Liam's Map.  Caldera made waves with an early Allowance win at Oaklawn Park, followed by a gutsy effort in the Sunland Park Derby - losing the stretch drive by a nose.  Then yet another stakes placed effort in the Bathhouse Row Stakes at Oaklawn park.  He is currently training for his 4 year old racing season.
